Short biography
Pavleta Knutsson is Associate Professor in Energy and Materials at Chalmers University of Technology. The work covers high-temperature corrosion and ash chemistry, alkali behaviour in thermal conversion, bed materials and oxygen carriers for biomass gasification and combustion, and oxidation of coatings. Pavleta is part of the Chalmers research group around the research gasifier and the GoBiGas biomass gasification demonstration plant, and leads projects on high-temperature corrosion and ash. Pavleta is a role model in Chalmers' women-in-tech initiative #tecHER and supervises and mentors students and early-career researchers.
